  I am a Supervising Principal Engineer and CEMS/MATS Subject Matter Expert for AEP in the Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Department. I am also responsible for coordinating the I&C support for Renewable Projects/Program and Design support. I graduated from Leadership Columbus’s NxGen Leadership Development Program in 2022 and completed the Google Project Management Certificate in 2023. I lead Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS), Mercury Air Toxic Standard (MATS), Environmental Retrofit Projects (FGD/SCR), Data Acquisition Upgrade projects while providing remote/on-site power plant support for a combined total of 28 Coal and Gas sites. I work closely with Air Quality supporting plants in achieving compliance with State, Federal, and Consent Decree Air Quality regulatory requirements. I am currently an I&C Lead for a renewable Wind Turbine Project that is planned to be constructed in northern Texas. I have previously provided technical due diligence reviews of Renewable Solar and Wind RFP’s. Beyond my normal responsibilities I’m also on the Generation Continuous Improvement Committee. I manage department and section Leaderboards and lead the management of the Engineering Services Strategy Board. I’m continuing to help drive AEP’s Cultural Transformation by leading one and participating in another cultural improvement initiative. Before starting at AEP I was in an Engineer for Bridgestone Firestone in Advanced Tire Development. I was on a team that worked on developing 3D design methodology and engineering/design project management. I previously worked as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op for both Philips Medical Systems, CT Engineering and FirstEnergy Corp, Performance Engineering. Working at Philips gave me experience in mechanical assembly, design, research, and cost engineering. I was given the responsibility of designing a section of a prototype CT machine using air bearings and many other interesting projects. My experience with FirstEnergy involved testing, project management, preventative/predictive maintenance, data analysis, etc. In addition to this practical experience, I graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering w/ Honors and I am a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Ohio.
